* TAC applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant legislation and regulations. Will you be able to provide your Social Insurance Number if your application for funding is successful?

* TAC applicants must have lived in Toronto for at least one year prior to submitting an application. Have you been a resident of the City of Toronto for at least one year?

* TAC grant programs fund professional artists. TAC defines a professional artist as someone who has completed her/his basic training (not necessarily at a formal educational institution). Are you a professional artist who has maintained an independent practice for at least one year?

Important Information For Naming Your Collective

You may NOT register a collective under your own name or the name of any other individual. The registered name must be the GROUP name selected for the collective. If a grant is recommended for your project, the payment will be made to the group name so you must be able to open a bank account for the group.

If you wish to apply as an individual, you must register as an individual and you will then have access to applications for programs that are open to individual applicants.
